Koodali High School: KOODALI HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL

It was in 1881 that Sri KunjaammanGurukkal founded a small elemantry school at Kumbham near Koodali .In 1922 It was handed over to Koodali thaazhathuveetu karanavr by the founder himself which was upgraded as a High school in 1945 . Sri K.T.Kunjiraman nambiar was the karanavar at that time.Sri K.T.Madhavannambiar was the first Headmaster

In 1969 (Gandhi centinary year )a beautiful mandapam was built here in the name of our Father of the nation

The School science and Mathematics clubs won many prizes in the District and State fairs respectively .There are other clubs like social science club ,Saahithya vedi , N.C.C (for more than 50 years ),Scouts&Guides,Junior Red cross ...all functioning well. The present manager (Sri K.T. Kunjikrishnan Nambiar) upgraded the High School into a Higher Secondary School in 2010.The present Head mistress is Smt. T.V Anandavalli and the Principal in charge is Sri A.Ashokan
